all files in my user account are gone, only guest account exists

help, please! All my files are gone! Totally stumped!The only log on is
guest. The folder still exists, but no files. My user account was the
administrator account. And I can't get to administrator. When I try, its
logged on as guest. Now what do I do?

Hi

Have you tried to access the Admin. Acc. via Safe Mode? The Admin. Acc.
can't be moved, renamed or deleted, so it's still there. Also try 'Last
Known Good Configuration' - keep tapping F8 after a reboot.

Much mahalo! Thank you. After numerous tries, it finally worked. It would
keep saying I did not have proper admin rights... like it was automatically
logging on as guest .. even in safe mode... Anyways, thanks for the advice-
greatly appreciated!
I'm now going to print/copy to disk all my important files! Thought they
were gone!
