Dear Sir/Madam,
I simply turned off my laptop and all was fine. When I
turned it on none of the software will open because all
the .exe files seem to have been wiped off. I am at a
loss as to how this happened as I have deleted nothing
from any of the program/windows folders.
This has occured in the most random manner - All Office
applications wont load (its asking to install with a CD),
all Adobe Acrobat, Sony Applications, RealPlayer, etc
will not open again as the .exe files have been wiped off.
I am not sure if this is due to hacking/virus.
Please kindly advise what I should do - I guess a system
re-install is needed and I would have to back-up all my
data/files prior re-installation?
Many thanks, Kaniza
