I'm using Xp home edition
ADSL, connection is wireless.
Avast virusscanner, windows firewall
Sinds one week I cannot surf the internet With IE6 sp2, IE7beta or
netscape/firefox.
What happens is: I open my browser, my startingpage loads correctly, i can
browse within this page without problems ope new websites true links in de
site that is allready open. But when i want to go to another website true
the history, or hit the refresh button, part of the page will load, that
means some images, text, half of the images of the java menu. And than gets
stuck.
sometimes it happens the first time i hit refresh, sometimes the second or
third time.
Internet connection is stil there but does not function.
For about 10 minutes i cannot connect to mail server, ftp to my website or
internet, than it restores itself.
P2P connection however is not affected.
Ive tried everything:
first installed ie7 beta (not that smart i found out in this group) no
changes!
Installed nescape browser 8.1..... same problem!
all available spywarescans come up clean,
ewido anti mallware crashes.
Allready did winsock repare, no changes.
Also have a laptop here using the same wireless connection without any
problems.
