All audio is too fast...

All the audio sounds too fast, even the Windows sound
effects. In any media players, you can tell the seconds
are running to fast. Anybody know whats up?

Check the advanced features of your soundcard--someone has increased the
speed there.

Have you tried reinstalling or updating the sound card drivers?

I have the same problem. I tried burning a CD and it
also sounded like Donald Duck.

I do not think it is a sound card issue. The video is
also fast. The clips play fine but the timeline sounds
like Donald Duck and the video is fast as well. I tried
burning a CD to play on another computer and that CD on
the other computer had the same speed issue.

DirectShow takes timing pulses from the soundcard drivers - I would update
or reinstall them.
