Has anyone used this book?

Would it be a good choice for someone with a good technical background
and a general understanding of database concepts who is looking to
learn Access?

Top,

I have not seen this book. However, my impression is that Alison Balter
tends to focus on using ADO, which is not the first choice of many
Access developers.

It may suit certain learning style but I prefer to go for more comprehensive
/ havier books. Alison Balter has 2 much more comprehensive books (1 on
general Access development and one on enterprise development). I suppose
the 24 hours would be a simplified version of the first book.

I still remember one of those " .. in 21 days". There were 21 chapters, one
for each day. It is obviously not enough so the book has 7 "bonus" chapters
not counted in the 21 days. At least the author implicitly acknowledged
that 21 days wasn't enough to learn the software package.

24 hours ...???
