alignment of a column in an Access table

I have searched through Help and several manuals but
cannot determine if it is possible to format the contents
of a column (text field) in an Access table to center
alignment or to wrap the text (as you can do in Excel).

Nancy,

You cannot do that. Don't be fooled by the appearence, an Access table is
NOT an Excel spreadsheet! It is intended for storing data, not presenting
them... you would use a report (or maybe even a form) for that, and there
you have a lot more formatting flexibility than in Excel.
