aligning objects in 2007

i have created several objects on my slide (boxes, etc.) and need to do
several "align" and "spacing" tasks with them. But the only way I can do this
task is going to the "format" tab and the "arrange" subtab to find the align
command. In 2003, I simply had all the align buttons on the side of my
screen so I didn't have to go clicking for them. How can I do this task most
efficiently in powerpoint 2007?

Thanks that helps. But it sure would be easier if the same functionality
existed from 2003 - dragging and dropping toolbars (especially on either side
of the slidewhere there is a lot of extra room).

Thanks for the link...i may consider it after getting started and familiar
with 2007.

It's a pain, isn't it?

I added these tools to the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar), and put the QAT below
the ribbon. Just right-click near the Save button and choose "customize QAT"
to get started.

Holler back if you need more specifics.

Oh, there's also Patrick Schmid's Ribbon Customizer. See
http://www.pschmid.net/office2007/ribboncustomizer/index.php I highly
recommend it!
