Aligning labels and text boxes

OK, I'm new to Access forms and what is really driving me nuts is aligning
the labels and text boxes. I carefully design a form on paper and when I try
enter the measurements on the form I notice that Access will change the
location, not by much, but just enought to drive me nuts. For example, I
decised to leave .75cm between labels and align accordingly. When I go back
and review my form, I notice that my nice label are not .75 apart but .7514
or .74996. Same thing with horizontal dimesions!

Why doesn't Access lock the item where I want them? Is there some secret
Microsoft wizard attempting to align my item even if I don't what it to.

Any information would help

it's no secret, Access is working with Twips (567 twips is one
centimeter)

besides that: a "normal" screen has a resolution of 96 dpi, which
makes 15 twips a physical screen-point

therefore: a 100% accurate positioning (with cm or inches) is not
posible
