Hello all. I'm looking for som eadvice on how to do something for a
pricing list we have at work. Here's the scenario:

I have an excel spreadsheet that is our Item Master list. It has all
items on it, with their list price, tiered price, actually cost, etc.

On a second worksheet, I have a list of items that represents the
items that make up 80% of our sales.

I would like to be able to create another worksheet or even filter the
item master list to just show the items in the seond worksheet (our
top sellers). Is there a realtively painless way to do this? Thanks
in advance.

Lets say that there is a column that each list has in common like Product
Number and lets assume for simplicity that that column starts in cell A1 on
each sheet with exact same heading (like "Product Number").

Select A1 in the master sheet and do a Data, Filter, Advanced Filter. The
current list should be selected automatically so click on the Criteria Range
box. Then click on the top sells sheet tab to make it active and select the
range from A1 down to the last best seller product code. Then click OK.

You should have the filtered list you want.

Thank you Jim. I has tried to do something similar and messed it up
just a bit. That worked like a charm. Thanks again.
