default alignmetnt of bullets

how to adjust the default bullet, make it align to the left margin?

Hi,

The easiest way to create a list with bullets aligned at the margin is to
press Ctrl+Shift+L when you are ready to start typing your list and to press
Ctrl+Shift+N when you are ready to type a paragraph that you don't want to be
bulleted.

If you already typed the list, block it and press Ctrl+Shift+L before you
use any other method to add the bullets. If you already added the bullets,
you can press Ctrl+Shift+N to apply the Normal style to the list and then
press Ctrl+Shift+L.

Which version of Word are you using?

Note that there is no such thing as a "default bullet" in Word; what you get
when you press the Bullet button is the most recently chosen format (in Word
2007 this seems to be limited to the current document and the current
session).

What you can do is modify the List Bullet style to suit your needs. It can
then be easily applied to text with Ctrl+Shift+L.
