Alerts move all the way to the top of screen (very annoying)

If I move the taskbar to the right of the screen, then the alerts don't
appear correctly. They move to the top of the screen and then disappear.
This is very annoying. Any ideas on how to get it to stop?

Ahh, this is the bug that I just mentioned a few below in
the topic called "Bug". I have the taskbar on the left of
my screen and have the same problem, obviously a faulty
window display function!

Yes--if the taskbar is at the bottom of the window, this works as designed.
Well known bug--should be fixed in the next beta release, I expect.

In the mean time you try this solution (not sure if it works), drag the
taskbar back to bottom then drag it back to the side then accept any pop
notifications.
