Alert Messages

On my machine I have my start menu set to Auto Hide on
the left side of the screen and i noticed that whenever
any alert messages come up they start in the lower right
part of the screen and go straight to the top and
disappear. On my other machine i have the task bar on
the bottom and visible at all times and this problem
doesnt exist. I guess maybe the form in looking for the
location of the task bar and doesnt find it so it just
continues on until its off the screen.
