Alert message Item.Send

I am receiving the following message when I try to read
mail sent from another person in our office. I use
Outlook XP.
A program is trying to send mail using Item.Send. A
program is trying to automatically send e-mail using a
Microsoft Outlook Visual Basic Application command,
Item.Send. If you want to send, click Yes.....

I know this is designed so I don't spread viruses, but I
am only reading mail from my coworkers. Any ideas? Thank
you!
