Album art not showing in folders

I have a problem with my Mp3 files. Most of my album folders in My Music
don't show the album art files (jpegs), but only show the tracks. However
when burning an audio cd with Nero these files show up. Also if I select a
folder and use the search utility it finds the album art files, but even then
when opening the folder normally, they again don't show. If I right click the
folder and select properties it will show for example 21 files. but opening
the folder will only show the 14 Mp3 tracks.
Am I being stupid?
How do I get all the files to be visible?
I have 'unhidden' all files in Control Panel and changed settings for the
folders, ie set for data rather than music but to no avail.

Hey wartpig,

To see all the files within a folder there are two options you need to
check. You got one. To get the other follow these steps:
Open Windows Explorer
Select Tools from the menu and then Folder Options
Select the View tab
Make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected
Make sure that "Hide protected operating system files and folders
[Recommended]" is checked.

That will allow you to see all the files in any folder on your system.

Hope this helps you out.
