ajustments to a EMail that was sent to me ??

I had a EMail sent to me in word and I can't make any ajustments to it??/
HELP!!
 
What have you tried? Have you tried asking the sending to send it to you in
another format?
 
Since it is always impossible to edit an email you have received, I assume
you must be referring to an attachment, presumably a Word doc? If so, is it
protected in any way?

What does "Edit -> Edit message" do in Outlook, if not enabling you to
edit a received email?
