aiw 90000 pro - teletext brower

I just installed aiw 9000 pro (Euro version) and MMC 8.5. One of the
features that made me decide on the card was the teletext function. It
seems ATI has crippled the software controller for the browser. The
minimum I expeted on the controller were 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons
but I can't find them. I found an earlier version of MMC and the user
manual clearly shows a controller with the 'Previous' and 'Next'
buttons. Did ATI release a new version of the teletext with a
practically unuseable software controller?

The Teletext functionality built into MMC 8.5 is marginal - I couldn't view
full pages with it here in the UK (only the first few lines were displayed
and the rest was either empty or gobbledygook). The MMC 8.1 Teletext at
least displays pages fully but the forward and back buttons aren't that much
use in that they don't go between different screens of the same page number
only different page numbers. If Teletext is important to you, its best to
use MMC 8.1 until something much better than MMC 8.5s Teletext offering
comes along.

Thanx for taking time to reply. The pages display correctly in my case
and I have MMC 8.5 installed. It's just that I can't browse back and
forth between the pages that are cached. I have to now key in the page
number for every page I want to read. I have emailed ATI support,
waiting to see if i get an answer.
