AIK Download problem

I'm trying to download AIK. The file format is .img instead of .iso. I am
unable to create a CD or DVD from the .img file. What am I doing wrong?
Help.. :)

I mounted it with Daemon Tools and installed directly from the image.
 
Try just changing the extension to iso and then burning with your software.
That worked here with Roxio Disc Copier 6.2.0.110 under XP.
