AI device identifies objects at the speed of light!

Electrical and computer engineers have created a physical artificial neural network -- a device modeled on how the human brain works -- that can analyze large volumes of data and identify objects at the actual speed of light. The device was created using a 3D printer.

Wow, that's awesome. I particularly like that it doesn't even need to be powered, it just works using light. It'll be incredible if this becomes the norm over time - we could end up looking back at electronics in the same way that we look back at steam powered machinery now. Fascinating

I remember my first computer had a 500 Mhz processor! Powerful huh?
I still haven't had the pleasure of using a 4 Ghz processor yet
