AGP 8x on CUSL2-C and CUV4X ???

Both CUSL2-C and CUV4X motherboards support up to AGP 4X, but I was
wondering if it's possible to insert (and use) an AGP 8X video card
(working at 4X, of course..)

I'm planning on buying new video cards, but I don't want to upgrade
the motherboards yet..

Yes, any AGP 8x card will work fine on a 4x board (at AGP 4x as you say)
