Agents wont start -FIX

I saw this in another newsgroup and it worked for me....

I found the problem. Both of the MS AntiSpyware processes gcasDtServe.exe
and gcasServe.exe use the Visual Basic runtime machine found in
msvbvm60.dll. By running the update:

Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redustribution Pack
(vbrun60sp6.exe)

found at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...61-7a9c-43e7-9117-f673077ffb3c&DisplayLang=en

the missing checkpoint problems where solved.

Yes, that is posted many times in this newsgroup as well. In fact, there is an even easier technique that may also work:

Registering a VB6 dll seems to fix missing agents:
1) Open up a command prompt (start -> run -> cmd)
2) Type in the following "regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll" (without the quotes).
3) Close and re-open Windows AntiSpyware
4) If that fails, install VB6 runtime files:
