age of empires 2 unable to join error

i have a dsl modem but i connected it with usb not
ethernet card + i cant play in zone what can i do?
 
Hi nikiniko,

Your modem may have a built in firewall. Call the people who
supplied you the modem, and ask them to either setup a "DMZ"
to bypass the built-in firewall, or open the necessary ports in the
equipment with you...Here's the List of all Ports used by Zone
