After Windows "boots" all I get is a Blank Screen.

The screen where you log in with your user name never appears. All I get is a
blank dark blue screen. I've turned my computer on and off a half dozen times
but it doesn't help. It worked fine yesterday... Any ideas???

From the subject line it appears that you have video up to a point and then
the screen blanks.

Can you boot to Safe Mode? Restart the computer and keep tapping the F8 key
until you see the Bootmenu. Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode and press
Enter. That should get you to a logon screen. See if you can log on to the
Desktop. Then go to Start button->Help and Support->Pick a task
section->click on System Restore.

Use the System Restore wizard to revert back to a time when your system was
working fine. Do not go back any further than you have to so if it was
working OK yesterday revert back to that date or one day earlier.

If you can't get to the Desktop through Safe mode post back and tells us
where in the process the system hangs.

I'm embarrased to say but... I had one of my monitors turned off - the one
the login page was on. Thanks for you help though. Now I know how to start
in Safe Mode!
