after sp2 computer disappears from workgroup

Hi,
After installation of SP2 on win xp pro this computer (-a-) is not visible
any more in the Workgroupwindow. Nor is A visible from computer b
Net use \\computer\sharename from a to b gives:
System error 1231 has occurred. The network location could not be reached
Net view on a gives:
There are no entries in the list
Filesharing is activated on both nic's and the windows firewall
on a and the mcafee firewall on b.
On b runs the mcafee firewall under windows 2000. sp4
Tracert en ping work both ways ok.
Love to have advice

Open the control panel in computer A and open the Security Center and click
on Windows Firewall. Try

a: Click on Exceptions tab and check the File and Printer sharing

or

b. Switch Off the Windows Firewall
