After installing VISTA I cannot see the body of an eMail message in
WebMail. I can edit the metadata fields (to >> subject, etc.) but the
body of the eMail windows displays an x and I can't do anyting in
that
box. It worked fine with XP.

Thanks,

if by webmail you mean outlook web access, this is a known issue with
Exchange server and there is currently a patch from Microsoft for it.

Using Outlook Web Access? Some (possibly all) versions don't seem to work in
Vista.

At least a version I saw running on top of a Windows 2000 Server didn't work
properly. I fiddled with it a lot before finally realizing that a great
solution was to install and use Mozilla Firefox on Vista.

Other than that...I don't know. Perhaps there is an update for this problem
that your system administrator should have installed.

Unfortunately, OWA doesn't work with IE 7 and Vista. I must use Firefox to
compose or reply to e-mail using OWA. I researched the problem over the
Internet and also asked around here as well. I have been unable to find a
solution. I'm still looking.

As I was saying...:) Actually, I prefer IE 7 to Firefox...except when using
OWA to send e-amils.

There is...for the XP version of IE 7. As far as I know, there isn't one
for the Vista version. But I hope that Microsoft soon fixes this problem.
Of all the things about Vista so far, this one thing is my only "downer."

If you login in "Basic" mode it works, just not in "Premium" mode

MS has a patch that needs to be applied on the Exchange server.
