I have now idea what could be the problem. When i enter
the control panel, the control panel will stop responding
50% of the time. If it doesnt stop responding there then
it will invariably stop responding when i click on the
Appearance and Themes, Network and Internet Connections,
Sounds, Speach, and Audio Devices, Performance and
Maintenance, Printers and Other Hardware, Date, Time,
Language, and Regoinal Options, or the Accessibility
Options available from the control panel menu. I
frequently run virus control and spyware software. I'd
appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Click control panel and on the left side click classic view. Try it from there
for awhile.

well useing the classic view seems to work, thanks for the tip, i kinda wish i could use the catagory view though maybe the next patch fixes it

If it's any consolation, my brother has the same identical problem and we
haven't solved it yet. His system is brand new.
