After copyin Excel to word how do you get the formulas to continue

After copying excel to word (I have 2007) how do you get the formulas to
continue working?

If you just copy/paste a pile of cells you will get a table. You need to
PasteSpecial as: A Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object.
