after applying couple of patches, can't save cookies on internet explorer

Hi,

I'm using windows 2000 pro, after applying recent security patches, when I
login my yahoo mail, I can't save my user id and password any more even I
said to remember it. And also I don't see the cookies settings in my IE
security any more. anybody has idea?

This is not a problem with cookies.

Your version of IE was most likely using the Autocomplete features.

In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu. Select Internet Options and click the Content tab.
In Personal information click the AutoComplete... button.
Make sure that Web Addresses and Forms checkboxes are selected.
