.AFP File

Does anyone know how or what I would use to parse or read a .AFP file?

I'm developing an application for a client in VB.NET and we intend to
receive an electronic feed from an insurance company. The company sent me
the .AFP file.

I believe the file is from an AS400 system but I'm not sure.

Any help is appreciated, code, link to site, link to post somewhere else,
recommendation of program to buy, general info., whatever.

I'm looking forward to importing this information to a SQL server database.
I do not have any AS400 systems experience if applicable, but I'm very
strong on the Microsoft side.
