I got a message from a friend:
When she runs pandascan, it says
Adware:Adware/PowerScan No disinfected Windows Registry
It is not listed in the add/remove programs nor start menu. It seems that
the corresponding registry entries are infected. Pandascan won't remove them.
She also observes that system resources are lower than ususal, like around
68% and was usually 77% before. So how does she get rid of Adware Power
Scan from her registry? She uses windows 98, i think.
Any help would be much appreciated.
