I am running Win XP home, with IE 6 fully updated. I was infected with adware and a virus that changed the search site that IE uses. Now that I got that cleaned up I cannot search from the address bar at all. I tried to do a search for "jayco" and in the address bar it gave me " http:///? jayco", and in the blue at the top of the screen it says "Cannot find server-Microsoft Internet Explorer" I have tried to reset the web settings, and have gotten nowhere. Also if I type in "jayco.com" it does the same thing. At the bottom of the screen in the area that shows progress it tries to open the jayco site, then the cannot find server thing happens and it always does the http:///? then whatever I type into the address bar. I can search if I use the search button and do the search from the side of the screen instead of the address bar. If you can help me I would appreciate it very much
