Advice on RAM for laptop needed

I'm looking to upgrade a Compaq laptop 1500 series that has a Hyndai
256MB PC2100 CL2.5 SODIMM module and need to know if buying a stick of
Crucial PC2100 256MB SODIMM would be compatible. Should the two modules
work together? It has a 845D chipset, so I don't have to worry about
dual channel incompatibilities.

The crucial.com site should provide the info you need.
If not, call Crucial customer service or visit the Compaq site.

Crucial has a lifetime guarantee, so if your computer is listed and they
sell a module for it, it is guaranteed compatible. I bought a second stick
of RAM for my Sony notebook (I know, apples and oranges) and it worked
perfectly.
