We are taking the brave new path of updating our offices with new monitors
and are considering new purchases to:

1. enhance look and feel
2. improve working conditions
3. improve productivity.

Suggestions have been made for 'radial' arm extensions and the Sony 20 inch
screen.

Can anyone pick holes in this buying scenario - I would really appreciate
it:

Projected cost per person: $1300 per person.

I paid about $420 for my Samsung 19" LCD monitor. It is absolutely awesome
and comes with rotation software included. At that rate you can buy 3
monitors for what you are proposing to spend on just one. What is your
reason for looking at monitors on adjustable arms?

One of our web designers likes the fact that you can adjust the screen to
show:

1. Vertical
2 horizontal

layout to office works vai the software and the arm which also looks 'cool'.

The rotation software only costs 40.

But he is interested in a 21 inch screen - I am not sure Best Buy stocks a
samsung in 21 inches?

What do you think
