advantages & disadvantages

heyhey...
i'm doing this assignment..could you please help me? I'm
trying to compare microsoft windows 2000 and microsoft
windowz XP. and write up a summary on the advantages and
disadvantages of each operating system..

<<this is what i got so far>>

Microsoft Windows 2000
Advantages-
Disadvantages-

Microsoft Windows XP
Advantages-
- Can handle hundreds of games and other
applications that Windows 2000 cannot.
- Can run older application programs by emulating
Windows 95 or other previous versions.
- XP will scan your system to see whether driver up-
dates and software patches are needed, which can be
downloaded from Microsoft's website.
- Looks less cluttered

Disadvantages
- Crashes really easily

Er, like what? I have yet to have a problem running an app/game in Win2K.

- Can run older application programs by emulating
Windows 95 or other previous versions.

Uh, so can Win2K.

- XP will scan your system to see whether driver up-
dates and software patches are needed, which can be
downloaded from Microsoft's website.

Win2K does too with Auto Update.

- Looks less cluttered

LESS cluttered? Sorry, but XP's new GUI is FAR more cluttered than Win2K/98's. Fortunately, XP has the "classic" option.

Disadvantages
- Crashes really easily

Only with Media Center ... pcmag did a crash compairison. XP generally
crashes the least of all MS OS es, except with the Media center installed,
which turns xp into a crasher.
