advantage/disadvantage to using html

Is there a disadvantage to using html all the time

The disadvantage is that you use HTML at all. It is a rare message indeed
that requires anything more than plain text.

HTML messages are larger than plain text for the same content.

When using Word as your e-mail editor, paragraph breaks will appear
single-spaced when composing, but double-spaced to the recipient. This does
not happen with plain text.

Opening HTML mail is riskier than opening plain text.
