"Advance to beginning" instead of "end of slideshow"

After my powerpoint presentation has run, I get the message:
" click to advance to beginning of presentation"
instead of the usual:
"end of slideshow, click to end"

Additional information: I am running XP sp2 and office 2003

what's causing this?

How do I change this message back to "end of slideshow, click to end"??

Go to the Slide Show Menu and choose Set Up Show. Uncheck the box for "Loop
continuously until Escape."
