Adobe Creative Suite 2

My upgrade to Vista was perhaps a little too hasty. After installing my copy
of Adobe CS2, I discovered that my name, company, and serial number were in
question before I could activate. Starting any of the programs results in a
"Personalize Your Software" window, asking for my information. No matter how
many times I retype it, it won't let me activate or use any of the programs.

The problem is acknowledged on this page:
http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Beta_2_Software_Compatibility_List (where it's listed as a problem that CAN BE FIXED).

And I thought this page offered a solution:
http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/331649.html but it seems geared towards
the problem in XP.

Surely I'm not the only one to run across this?!? Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I've installed CS2 so many times now... I turned off UAC completely, ran the
setup executable "as an administrator," and ran each individual program "as
an administrator." I've even tried running the setup and installed programs
in "XP SP2 Compatibility Mode." I can't install my Suite, and I can't do my
work! :-/

Has anyone else had success?

your advice worked like a charm.

"kylenit" made one post MORE THAN TWO YEARS AGO - the one you replied
to - and has never been back.
