At boot up keep getting the administrator scree that requires me to
click on mu name. don't have an administrator, I'm th only user of the
puter. How to get riff of it so it keeps booting?

Start | Run, type

CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2

and hit Enter.
User Accounts window will pop-up. Uncheck the "Users must enter a
username
and password to use this computer" checkbox, click OK button, and on
the next screen select your username and password (if you have none,
set the password first pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and clicking "Change
password" button). Click OK.

Notes: 1. Each Windows XP installation has Administrator account by
default. Do not delete this account!

2. It is strongly recommended to use strong (not less then 8
characters, including digits, upper- and lowercase letters and special
characters as @ $ + , .) Use User Accounts screen to set passwords.
Write down Administrator password and put it to the safe place - you
will need it to fix your Windows installation! Write down your working
account password also, DO NOT connect to the Internet from account
without password!

1. Go to Start | Run and type in: control userpasswords2 | Ok.

2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password
To Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user
name and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you
start your computer.

You can accomplish the same thing by:

Download and install tweakui for xp and use its auto logon feature.

Lastly you can add the Dialog box that comes up when running control
userpasswords 2 to the Control Panel with the following tweak:

Add Control User Passwords2 to the Control Panel (Line 1)

I'm not sure I properly follow your problem, but it sounds like you'r
talking about the welcome screen
Change your settings in windows XP so that the welcome screen i
disabled, you probably have it set to always go to welcome screen
