Hi all.
I'm using ADMT v2 on a win2k sp4 DC to move users from
one subdomain to another, both children of the root. the
target server is also win2k sp4 DC. I was able to move
over 90% of the users with no problem but for 19 of them,
the migration log reads with the following error:
ERR2:7422 Failed to move object CN=USERNAME HERE,
hr=8007054f An internal error occurred.
This error is the same (other than the CN) for each entry
that failed.
Additionally, on my targed DC, the Directory Service
event log records the following error (19 times,
coincidentally):
Event Type: Error
Event Source: NTDS General
Event Category: (9)
Event ID: 1168
Date: 7/1/2004
Time: 4:39:59 PM
User: LAB\Chester
Computer: NEWALUMNI
Description:
Error 6(6) has occurred (Internal ID 3151eba). Please
contact Microsoft Product Support Services for
assistance.
The users affected are in some different universal
distribution groups but the only global group they are in
is domain users. None of the accounts are disabled or
locked out. If anyone has any insight, i'd appreciate
it. I can't stand event log errors that say contact
support services...it's like MS saying, an error has
occurred, please pay us $245. Please CC any replies to
this post to my email addy as well. Thanks,
