admistrator lockout

Hi as a result of fussing with the security settings /
local policies I did the cool thing of setting the "deny
logon to this session" or some equivalent control
to "Administrator", managing to efectively lock myself
out. I manged to enable a restricted guest account with a
SAM password-lockout cracker floppy Software I found. but
could`t unlock the admin settings. Then from within w2000
as guest edited the secAdmin but got a "denied access"
comant prompt response to this attempt (which makes sense
actually). What else can I do?

You probably changed the deny logon locally user right assignement. See the
link below about trying to replace the secedit.sdb file on the locked out
computer from another network computer or by slaving the hard drive into
another computer to do such. -- Steve
