After installing Service Pack 2, the Administration Tools failed to run.
Instead the installation dialog for the .NET Administration Tools Pack stared
up and attampted to either install or re-install the adminpak.msi package. It
errored out with the following message:
Windows .NET Server Administration Tools Pack can only be installed on
Windows XP Professional. Please obtain the proper OS and service pack before
running Windows .NET Server Administration Tools Pack Wizard.
It (they) worked perfectly before SP2. I cannot find any related info in the
knowledge base. Any body have the answer?

I am having the exact same problem and so are my co-workers. We discovered
it when my co-worker went to use AD Users and Computers in Admin Tools.

I have tried researching and can find nothing. I have tried
uninstalling/reinstalling. I just keep getting the error:
Windows .NET Server Administration Tools Pack can only be installed on
Windows XP Professional. Please obtain the proper OS and service pack before
running Windows .NET Server Administration Tools Pack Wizard.

This all started after upgrading XP Pro to SP2.

Thanks.
