Administrator Privilege

XP Home seems to work properly when I'm logged in with Administrator
privileges; however, I'm getting a Administrator Privilege fault when trying
to launch DOOM 3 that I just installed on my Sony Vaio. I've tried
everything I know to do with no success. I then installed the game on my
son's Sony Vaio (XP Home) and it worked with no problem(?), i.e. no
administrator privilege fault.

It would help if you were to explain precisely what you mean by
"Administrator Privilege fault." This is not a standard error
message.

The exact message in the pop up window states,

"Please login with administrator privileges and try again"
 
I'm having a problem installing a software program using adminstrator
privileges-would you be able to tell me how to do it-help-thank-you.sharron
