administrator password reset

A few years ago I had gotton from Microsoft a downloaded program for
resetting the administrator password. I still have the floppy for it but it
is unreadable so i lost the tool today at work. I was handed a laptop that
noone knew the admin password on so easy fix right use the disk well it
doesn't work anymore and i can't find the tool on microsofts website any help
would be appreciated thanks..
