I must have my user name on my account as administrator to install a certain
program. Not just administrator privlages. the name must read ADMINISTRATOR.
windows XP will not let me name my account that.
Is there any way to have my user name read it?

The Problem is that your WindowsXP system already has an Account named
Administrator which isnt Shown on the "plastic" Logon-Screen from Windows XP
by default.

if you want your system to show the Administrator Account on Logon try this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
Name: Administrator
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1 display on userlist
Reboot and you will see Administrator as one of you logon choices. I hope
you still remember your Administrator password created at WindowsXP
installation.

There is a default "Administrator" account that probably doesn't have
a password associated with it. Start-->Run and type in "control
userpasswords2" minus the quotes and set a password for the
Administrator. Then you should be able to do whatever it is you want
to do with the Administrator account.
