administrator logon problems

when i try to download updates from microsoft or let aol
9.0 optimized run a computer checkup, i get a message
that i have to be logged on as as an administrator. all
users on this computer are administrators. i cannot sem
to find the solution to this problem thru microsoft.
 
Danny;
Minimize AOL and get the updates directly using IE.
Start/All Programs/Windows Update
