Administrator Locked?? Help!

I had to reinstall mt Vista 32 Ultimate (motherboard) now when I bring it out
of sleep mode i have a page with my name and Locked under it..also a button
to switch user. I did not have this before. How can I get rid of the page and
what does Locked mean? please advise

Go to the Power Management applet in Control Panel and uncheck the box
that requires a password when resuming from sleep mode. There is a
second place where you'll find a similar checkbox and that's under the
Screensavers tab (Personalize).

That's what is weird. I don't have a password so the there is no option to
uncheck!. in the screen saver area the box is unchecked? thanks for the post!

And in Power Management?

Malke, I did a system restore. I was then able to make the change in power
management!! Thank you! Do I need to wrry about the locked radio button that
was under my log on?

Glad that worked for you. I don't know why you had the problem so I
can't answer your last question. If everything is working and you know
the computer is completely virus/malware-free, I'd just Move On.
