Administrator desktop access

On my Emachine when I try to logon to the Administrator desktop, I get the
box, '...could not logon to the Administrator desktop because of certain
restrictions. I cannot get an answer from Emachines.

Do you have Home or Professional edition?

If you have XP Home, then you can only login to the Administrator account
from safe mode.
 
I agree with Johnny, if you are running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition,
you can only access the account named Administrator, by booted your Windows
XP system in Safe Mode. If you do not know how to booted your PC into Safe
Mode, please post in the community once again and myself or Johnny will
gladly help you.
