hi all,

I can't able to login with the administrator account in
windows 2000 server, but all the other accounts are able
to login, There is no any other problem found in event
viewer, no error messages displayed. when i try to login
as administrator a blank blue screen appears for very long
time. But all the other usernames working fine, but sure
that no problem in password.

From a remote machine, can you login using administrator account?
If yes, remove the administrator profile from the server, maybe this is a
problem.
Install a adminpak.msi in NT client, and verify if administrator account has
a roaming profile, if yes, remove this.

Csaran,

This sounds like virtually the same problem I have (see my
post a few entries before yours). My problem is affecting
one of my admin accounts AND about 10% of my user
accounts. I don't have the cause nailed down yet but...
I've found deleting the exisisting login script from
Active Directory Users and Computers -> Users -> [User
name] -> Properties -> Profile Tab -> Logon Script box
SOMETIMES fixes the problem. I hope it will work for you.
Are any of your users also affected? Do you have any
ideas on the cause of the problem? I'd love to know!
