After I did a XP clean install from Me, I don't see an administrator account
in the control panel users administation screen. Is there one hidden, or do
I need to create it if I want it. If there is one I don't see, how do I log
onto it? ctrl-alt-del X2 and the pswd is???

XP Home or XP Pro?

You can only login as Administrator via Safe Mode in Windows XP Home
Edition. However, any account with Admin rights should be sufficient in XP
Home.

Yes, if this is XP Pro, you can press CTRL+AL+DEL twice at the Welcome screen to see the built-in administrator account. If you did not create a password for this account during installation then the password will be blank.

If this is XP Home Edition, you can only access the built-in administrator account by restarting in Safe Mode.
