Administrative install of a IE6 component

S

Simon Begin

Our users are not local admin, so they cannot install ActiveX controls in
IE6.

How can we do a SMS or Script install of this?

Hi Simon,

Thanks for posting.

The user must have Admin privilege to install any Active X controls. It is
by design.

For any ActiveX controls, you can log on as Administrator to install them
and let other users to use them.

thanks.

Best regards,
