administrative account restricted

well i have got this machine of win 2000 advance server on
which some one applied policies and now even the
administrator is under the restricted rights and none of
the administrative options are accessable, kindly reply me
ASAP the solution so as how to get back the full rights of
administrator, thnxss
 
John. You can prevent the administrator account from begin applied by a
specify GPO that may lockdown the system by modify the ACL (Security) of it.
Locate the particular policy and right click and click properties of it.
click Security Tab. You can deny Domain Admins Apply Policy right and they
will not be effected by the particular policy. This may are a design
question of GPOs more than filtering out policies
